She holds a Bachelor of Laws (B.A. LL.B) degree from MM’s Shankar Rao Chavan Law College, Pune, affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, as well as a Masters in Law in Intellectual Property Rights (LLM-IPR) from the prestigious NMIMS Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, Mumbai.
Her core expertise lies in Trademark and Copyright law, encompassing pre-filing strategy, searches and clearance, prosecution, examination responses, hearings, oppositions, rectifications, assignments, renewals, restoration, and other post-registration matters, for both Indian and international clients. At Brainiac IP Solutions, she is involved in managing and advising on diverse IP and legal matters, including IP strategy and portfolio management, legal opinions, trademark and copyright filings and prosecution, enforcement-related correspondence, notices and replies, and coordination with clients, foreign associates, and other stakeholders.
She also handles and reviews a wide range of legal instruments and commercial agreements, including IP assignments, licensing arrangements, confidentiality agreements, collaboration agreements, service agreements, retainers, and other IP and business-related contracts. Her practice further involves IP due diligence, registry tracking, deadline and docket management, dispute-related matters, and providing strategic legal support tailored to clients’ business and brand-protection objectives. She also contributes to the supervision and training of junior associates and interns and has experience in training business-development and marketing teams on trademark law, filing procedures, documentation, costing, and related IP processes.
